I enjoy the weekly creative challenges. But they move me to move on an impulse. Creating without contemplating. Breathing out without breathing in. I was browsing through back-up drives yesterday and found a few dozen images and videos I've shot over the years of a Buddha statue that sits in my back yard. This is a short clip from two winters ago. I long for the patience to contemplate the unfolding world, silent and still. Listening deeply to its voice before abandoning it for my own.
