TLQ: I don't agree that using a fifty year old out of print comic cover for a mashup parody is problematic.
It's sad (but amusing) that folks like the Lone Asshole try to attack your work by raising bogus copyright issues.
It's the same tactic being used by the major corporations to stifle creativity and innovation.
Pity the poor fool but do throw him a banana for me.
