One of the key features of Philip Rosedale's upcoming High Fidelity virtual world will reportedly be real-time avatar facial expression. There's a project on Indiegogo that's coming out with that kind of functionality for use in Skype and other webcam applications. The video looks pretty impressive. I signed up.
