Thanks. I realize that many (or most) people experience the creative process as coming completely from themselves. But I usually have the sense that I'm in active collaboration with both an inner muse, as well as the evolving work itself.
Maybe it's just my brain churning through an ocean of subconscious memories and tossing ideas up on the beach of conscious awareness. Perhaps it's an expression of archetypal forces. Could be sub-personalities seeking expression in the physical world, Probably all of the above to some extent.
In any case, it's good to see that at least a couple of other people can relate to this POV.
