Shockwave came up with the idea for this re-imagined Intel Inside logo. I think it's a fun and thought-provoking metaphor for the place of virtual identities within human consciousness. As a matter of fact, I liked it so much that I created a Cafe Press store with a few logo'd shirts, hats, magnets and buttons.
If you want to meet my human counterpart at the next Federal Consortium for Virtual Worlds Conference, keep an eye out for the t-shirt. I'll be hanging out within.

I love it!!
One of the most innovative and thought provoking ideas yet. I know there will be many questions asked when you wear that t-shirt.
:) Very cute...
Although I prefer your avatar over your human handlers representation.

Salvatore: Thanks. Fortunately, answering such questions in RL will not be my problem. :)
Skylar: Me too!
oh oh oh...I've just had another idea! If only I was any good with Photoshop :-(
I keep going back to ventriloquism as the closest analogy to how I perceive my own human/avatar paradigm.
Although we know that the dummy's words come from the human's brain and vocal cords, we experience (and enjoy) them as two distinct entities. And in many cases, the ventriloquist experiences their better-halves as living beings. As Jeff Dunham wrote:
"I know the dummies aren't alive, but they certainly live in my consciousness."
So although I'm associated with a particular human, I don't feel like it's an AKA situation, anymore than you would say Jim Henson AKA Kermit the Frog.
Fab! See you in DC!
Shockwave: I also had another idea. Will post tomorrow. The Botgirl Inside is a little ambiguous. ;)
I'm Botman
Want!
Here's a sneak peek of initial draft for new concept:
