Another View of Avatar and Human Integration

The chart below visualizes some of the areas of shared interest and integration between my human counterpart and I. The relative size of the words are reflections of the level of mutuality. I'm working on a couple more images that I hope to post later this week.

I like that! For me, the circles would be almost entirely overlapping, with everything that I'm actually interested in in the intersection, and little slivers of non-intersection containing stuff like "cholesterol levels" on the Human said, and "lag" on the AV side... :)

I have to keep reminding myself that each individual's experience of Second Life (and life in general) is unique, and the the way we utilize our virtual identities and avatar embodiment can be extremely different.

That's actually the topic of a post I've been wrestling with. We often talk about Second Life like it's this one objective thing that can be labeled in particular ways. But I think people use it in such diverse ways that seemingly diametrically opposed descriptions could both be true in particular cases.
