  1. Wow. Deep.

Seriously Botgirl, you can do better than to compare the objective potential and cumulative intellect of human thought/experience/creation to involuntary bodily functions, can't you?

  2. This is as good as it gets today! You think I should have gone with a burp instead of the hiccups?

Seriously, I'd agree with you if I had compared "the objective potential and cumulative intellect of human thought/experience/creation to involuntary bodily functions." But that's not what it said.

It was actually a tongue-in-cheek critique of my own tendency to feel a bit prideful about clever little ideas (like that one) which pop up into consciousness. I think it's justified to appreciate the work we do with an idea once we have it, including the effort, conscious thought and craftsmanship that goes into writing a song or creating an image.

This is another expression of the idea I was ruminating on in yesterday's shot in the dark post. The way we create and shape ideas, and the way that ideas create and shape us.

  3. Sometimes I think your ruminations would be more interesting than the end product you promote.

  4. Maybe next time I should express the idea in a song. ;)
