You Don't Own Crap Redux: Linden Lab to Create Adult Ghetto

I've just checked some of the stuff in my inventory.
And your quite wrong, I do own Crap, But not Mister Crap.
I don't see where the problem is. Especially now while we still don't know what "adult" will mean. If all the genital shops and sex places should be on one continent and private islands, why not? That might turn out as a good thing. And we'll finally have all those sick purists stop complaining.
One clarification: as announced, verification includes payment info used.
I personally am in favor of age verification to put barriers between kids and adult content.
My post was more directed at people who are surprised or offended that Linden Lab might unilaterally make a big decision like that. LL has the legal right to do just about anything they want based on the TOS, including actions that change the value of virtual goods or "property" one might have created or purchased.
So I think the larger issue of the rights of residents is more interesting and has much broader and longer-term implications beyond Second Life. I had posted on that quite a few times in the past and had one link in this post.
